Oil analysis
Oil analysis
Ronor collaborates with the best analysts in the field to offer its clients the service and quality of analysis results.
Beware of ‘free analyses’ offered by oil manufacturers: These are very effective at detecting poorly matched oils, but cannot identify mechanical defects.
A spectrochemical analysis of the metallic elements that may be present in your lubricants is performed. These elements identify wear due to corrosion, metallic wear, and fouling of the components of your machines. They also detect the presence of additives.
A series of additional tests can measure the physical properties of lubricants.
Viscosity, acidity, and water content are usually measured. Tests for fuel dilution, soot content, oxidation, nitration, etc. may also be recommended and performed.
Depending on your requirements and applications, Ronor can also perform particle content analyses, ferrography, as well as many other analytical procedures.
